Scholars Program
Students who earn Honor Roll or Principal's Award will be recognized and provided with a letter and certificate at the end-of-semester assembly and will be featured on the Principal’s weekly newsletter and campus website. Criteria for Honor Roll and Principal's List is determined by courses completed and grade point average. These types of recognition look great on college applications.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
HONOR ROLL
Student coursework must be academically balanced. Students need to complete core and elective courses.
- Student who earn a minimum of 3 credits at the end of the semester.
- Minimum academic GPA of 3.0 for the semester.
PRINCIPAL’S LIST
Student coursework must be academically balanced. Students need to complete core and elective courses.
- Student will earn a minimum of 3.5 credits at the end of the semester.
- Student who earns an academic GPA of 3.0 or above for the semester.
HONOR ROLL AND PRINCIPAL’S LIST
Students who qualify for the honor roll program must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average.
A student's grade point average is determined by the following process: assigning number values (A=4, B=3, C=2) to each grade.
REPORT CARD
Provided at the end of each semester.
GRADING SCALE
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
